Jan Stewart– Resort Manager

I grew up owning and showing horses and always had dogs as well. More recently, while working full time, I volunteered for 10 years at the local animal shelter. I helped care for and assisted in rehoming many dogs. This led me to bringing home two chihuahuas, Chloe and Dillon, who have been my joy since January 2008. The Posh Paw is a natural and passionate fit for me to help care for other people’s pets while they are away!

Kaileigh Alvarez– Operations Manager

Animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve owned and ran my own pet sitting business for years, as well as worked at a previous boarding facility for four years. I’ve also worked at a Veterinarian’s Office and now at The Posh Paw. I love and treat every animal like they are my own. I am Canine CPR certified and Canine Safety and First Aid trained. I have a silly Jack Russell named Jelly and a kitty named Kitty! I want to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while they are in our care!

Melly Scott-Salon Manager

I have had a passion for dogs for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I’d get into trouble for trying to give many of our dogs haircuts. Fortunately, I’ve gotten a little better since then, and I have been grooming professionally for over 12 years. I approach each groom as an art, and I painstakingly seek perfection with every customer. I have groomed at only two salons, but grooming at Posh Paw has been the most rewarding in all my years as a Groomer. Not only have I been able to grow as a Groomer, but I’ve had the opportunity to guide others as well. I am currently Salon Manager where I oversee salon safety, train and lead other Groomers, and provide customer support for the absolute best Posh experience. I have two dogs of my own – Koko, my old lady Dachshund, and Chance, my little loving Russell Terrier mix. I look forward to helping your fur baby look and feel their best

Dawn Hoverson– Managing Owner

My passion for animals and their well-being began when I was a small child and where my stuffed animals were subjected to hours of make-believe veterinary care. Once in college, I decided to expand my interest in animal care by working in a couple of veterinary hospitals, where I gained valuable knowledge of pet health. In more recent years, my devotion turned to rescue when my husband, Will, and I began fostering dogs in our home. I became involved as a sponsor with Trinity GAP Rescue in association with Trinity High School rescuing from the Euless Animal Shelter. This unique and wonderful rescue group offers young women in high school the opportunity to get involved in their community in an effort to rescue pets in need of new homes. It has been a dream of mine to transform my passion into a career, and thus, The Posh Paw Resort was born in 2013. Posh has truly been a blessing for me and my wonderful team that works hard to provide the highest level of care for our guests. We are privileged to share our deep love and commitment for the happiness and safety of our four-legged customers with our clients and our community. I love to see our passion come full circle when we are able to assist a rescue group with boarding, day camp, or connecting them with great pet parents as potential adopters.

Will Hoverson-Owner

My love for dogs and entrepreneurial spirit makes creating a great place to bring your dogs a natural fit for me. Along with my wife I have enjoyed fostering and helping dogs find new homes as sponsors with the Trinity GAP rescue organization. Dawn and I have great plans for the Posh Paw and want to make it a truly Posh place for dogs and their owners. I am also excited that we are working on ways to combine our dog rescue work with our business.
